Here at Kentmere Book Services we are able to provide a tailor-made service that is responsive to your needs and your budget. We have wide-ranging experience that includes self-publishing through print-on-demand and creating content for professional publishing companies and specialist printers. We specialise in non-fiction (including autobiography, memoirs, family and local history) but we will also consider other genres of writing such as poetry and folktales.
We are not a vanity publisher – we are writers and editors who are offering our experience and technical skills to help you get your book published either in traditional hard copy (whether paperback or hardback) and/or ebook format. We will offer our advice, but you will always have the final say – we never lose sight of the fact that it is your book. You may already have a deal with a publisher but if they do not offer a proof-reading service, then we can help you with that before you submit your manuscript to them.
We have published two versions of our own book, Twenty British Folktales (e-book) and Twenty-One British Folktales (illustrated paperback) so you can see an example of our work. A free download of the ebook is available for prospective customers, and we can show you the hard copy format when we meet.
